About Mark
Mark is a corporate lawyer with a broad-based practice that includes mergers & acquisitions, equity financings, fund formation, strategic partnerships, licensing, and almost any other kind of commercial transaction. He acts as outsourced general counsel for many of his clients.
He cut his teeth as a corporate lawyer working at a large law firm, Morrison & Foerster LLP, during the dotcom boom. That experience shaped his disciplined work ethic and attention to detail.
Mark has also worked as outsourced general counsel for a variety of companies. As a result, he has developed an understanding of the business and operational needs of companies, translating into a practical approach to advising his clients.
After 24 years of practice, Mark believes that all problems are solvable. Understanding the importance of listening closely to the needs of his client and the other parties to any business transaction, he is extremely adept at employing the appropriate strategies and tactics necessary to ensure that profits are maximized, risks are minimized, and deals are closed on time and in compliance with law.
Integrity and service are Mark’s highest values. This is reflected in his policy of returning telephone calls and emails on a same-day basis.
Mark is happily married to his wife of ten years and has four children, ranging from twenty to five years old. In his free time, Mark enjoys yoga, travel, and spiritual seeking.
